Coach Morton
Head Softball Coach/ Math Teacher
Coach Morton played softball and basketball both in high school and college in Mississippi. In her 4 years of high school softball, she helped lead her team to a state runner-up championship title and also a state championship title. She was named to the all district and all state teams her senior year. Coach Morton played 2 years of softball at East Mississippi Community College. They were able to place 2nd in state her freshman year and 3rd in state her sophomore year.
After softball, Coach Morton obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and her Master's Degree in Math Education from Kennesaw State University. She currently teaches Math at North Paulding High School.

Coach Matthews
Assistant Basketball/Softball/Heath and PE Teacher
Coach Matthews played softball and basketball both in high school. She was given the US Army Scholar Athlete Scholarship and continued her athletic career at Faulkner State where she played both basketball and softball. Coach Matthews was named to the all state Junior College team both years for basketball. She then transferred to Auburn University of Montgomery and played basketball.
Coach Matthews obtained her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree both in Health and Physical Education and she is currently teaching Health, Personal Fitness, and team sports at North Paulding High School.

Coach Young played softball in High School along with being the school Mascot. She attended Hiram High School and graduated in 2005. After high school, Coach Young attended Kennesaw State University where she got her Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education. While going to college, Coach Young dedicated many volunteer hours to community coaching softball both at Hiram and North Paulding. She also helped with Tennis as well. She is currently working on getting her Master's Degree in Special Education. She teaches Math at NPHS.

He has been fortunate to coach a variety of sports, including softball, basketball, soccer and volleyball at youth through adult levels.
He earned a BBA in Finance from Georgia Southern University in 1985, an MBA from Kennesaw State University in 2000, and a Masters in Business Education form the University of West Georgia in 2009. He currently teaches Business Education and Computer Science at Sammy McClure Middle School.
